Invita. Classic Look. Modern Feel. Invita's retro-modern silhouette, enhanced with state-of-the-art, high-tech components, is sure to turn heads in the showroom.
Selective buyers will delight in the high-end profile that Invita brings to the category of neighborhood electric vehicle (NEV)... from the classic-style headlights to the ultra-contemporary instrument cluster.
Ergonomic Design Unlike other NEVs (which can have the awkward feel of poorly responsive golf carts) Invita is engineered to drive with the ease and comfort of a regular passenger car.
Invita's design gives top priority to ergonomics, with buttons, switches, levers, pedals and many other components all within convenient, natural reach.
Informative On-board Devices Invita exclusively uses automotive-quality technology in its switches, buttons, and instrument panel for warning signals and gauges. These components guarantee reliable performance that stand the test of time.
Battery Protection Invita uses the same batteries that are found in aircrafts and solar-powered systems. They are maintenance-free, sealed, lead-acid batteries that do not require distilled water re-fills or even regular check-ups.
The Battery Management System (BMS) not only gives accurate readings of State Of Charge (SOC) but actually measures the voltage of each battery and the temperatures of the battery compartment.
It equalizes the SOC regularly, eliminating the possibility of overcharging or over-discharging each battery during repeated usage of deep-cycle. If the BMS detects a problem in the energy capacity of a specific battery, a warning light is illuminated. That way, a bad battery can be replaced before it taints the properly-functioning ones.
High Performance Powertrain Invita uses ground helical gear sets in its transaxle unit, the same technology that has proven effective in small passenger cars. The result? Higher efficiency and less noise. Compare Invita's powertrain to that of other NEVs, which largely use transaxles comprised of non-ground spur gear sets.
Built to Last The Invita utilizes an Aluminum Space Frame (ASF) -- a single, rugged structure composed of aluminum-alloyed parts welded together for superior strength. The result is a vehicle frame that is extremely light and durable.
The exterior body panels are made of fiber-reinforced plastic using resin transfer molding technology, ensuring dimensional accuracy of the parts.
Painted with three coats of high gloss automotive paint, Invita's plastic body panels resist corrosion effectively.
Vehicle Dynamics Those who test drive the Invita are taken by the superb performance of Invita's suspension and steering system.
The smooth ride and precise handling are a direct result of Invita's rack and pinion type steering system, which outperforms the cantilever type steering systems seen in other electric vehicles. Invita, by contrast, uses McPherson strut front suspension and four-link type for rear suspension.
Invita offers unparalleled hill climbing capability and stable turning characteristics. Invita's four-wheel drive People Carrier and its other rear wheel drive models are not prone to the fishtailing that often plagues other NEVs.
Fast Charging Invita can be charged within 24 minutes from 30% of SOC to 80% by an off-board fast charger, and the batteries that Invita uses can absorb unlimited current during charging.
Variety of Useful Options Invita provides customers with more useful options than any other NEVs in the market. Options include hard doors with sliding windows, a gas-fired heater, custom cargo decks for ski resorts, electric power steering, smart parking brake, fast charging compatibility kit and four-wheel drive. Buyers are limited only by their imaginations.
Unique Features of Invita People Carrier Invita People Carrier is a very unique electric shuttle. It can carry up to nine people in its three rows of seats. The standard People Carrier has a four-wheel drive system with 12 modules of 12V, 105Ah batteries (instead of a standard 6 modules), totaling around 400 kg. Its driving range per charge is up to 60 miles with full load.
