Reliable And Fun To Drive The Parade EV's power steering is supported by an electric motor positioned right on the steering column, providing just enough assistance. Unlike conventional hydraulic power steering systems, this unique design is leak and noise free, is lightweight, compact and uses less power.
Electric Power Steering
The four-channel ABS and Metal Matrix Composite (MMC) brake disks on all four wheels ensure predictable and safe braking in all driving conditions. To achieve significant weight reduction, the steering knuckles, MMC disk brake and control arms that move along the wheels are made of aluminum alloys instead of iron or steel - and lasts twice as long. Reducing the excess weight of wheels and other components greatly enhances the maneuverability of the vehicle. A drive motor between the rear wheels contributes to even distribution of loads among wheels. This rear-wheel configuration enhances dynamic performance of the vehicle during braking, up-hill climbing and turning. Approximately, 350kg of batteries under the passenger compartment lower the mass center of the vehicle and improve stability.

Parade EV by Nevcar was designed not only to be efficient and environmentally-friendly but to be one of the safest compact vehicles in the world!
Parade is fairly tall (63.8 inches) for a compact vehicle offering its driver good sightlines in order to avoid accidents. And with its four-channel ABS disk brakes on all four wheels, a low-mass center and light suspension, Parade enables the driver to command the vehicle around hazards safely. If an unfortunate collision should occur, passengers inside the Parade are protected by its all-aluminum body and dual airbags.
How does the all-aluminum body of the Parade protect its passengers during accidents?
Aluminum is known to absorb more impact energy than steel by crushing itself more thoroughly.
With the Parade EV's powertrain between the rear wheels, there is a long, vacant, collapsible space under the hood. This vacancy is designed to crumple and absorb much of the impact energy in a collision instead of transmitting it.
Parade EV does not carry any of those traditional bulky or rigid parts under the hood, such as a large gas-powered engine or transmission. Typically in an accident, parts like these tend to transmit energy to the firewall and into the passenger compartment.
Designing a safe body, factoring in weight and cost containment, is not an easy task. But we have successfully accomplished just that by utilizing modern computer simulation technology to analyze crashworthiness. 'Full,' 'Offset' and 'Rear' barrier tests (shown below) were performed in the U.S. and Europe and their outstanding results confirmed the superior body design of Parade EV.

CONCEPT VEHICLES
One Platform for Multiple Vehicles Several different types of vehicles can share the same Parade EV platform. Slight modification in the rear doors and rear portion of the passenger compartment can convert Parade into a micro van or even a small pick up truck. These vehicles have the same wheelbase and share the same powertrain, battery tray and many other parts. The wheelbase can simply be shortened or extended based on the end-user's requirements.
